I'd like to get a copy of Abigail Thomas's book and Natalie Goldberg's new one about memoir writing. Sounds like good stuff.

Have fun with the new moleskin. A friend of mine loves them. He's even done collages on the covers.

I have a gnome perched atop my bookshelf, one day our gnomes will engage in a bloody battle to the death and mine shall emerge the victor... ha ha!

Is it weird that I have a garden gnome without having a garden? ha ha.

Nice to know the garden is going well. If you begin to have an excess of habanero peppers, I will take them off your hands. Please, I implore you.

OMG... we so need to embellish your post with the rest of the details. There's not even a single mention of the Australians, or the awesome open-air showers at Outback, or the furry men we met... c'mon dude! And the truckstop motel in BF-Nowheresville Buttonwillow, swiggin' back the remains of Eduardo's vodka... trust me folksies... this was the tame version. And crazy of all craziness-- not a word about Clinton's Book-on-CD? Where's the love?
Had a great time traveling with ya. And hope to do it again next year with you guys! :)
p.s. I'm really fat in that pic. Couldn't you slim me down in photoshop or something?

I loved Dark Knight, definitely the best superhero movie, but for comic book adaptations overall <i>Sin City<i> MAY win out. Check that one out if you haven't seen it. I jsut back from San Francisco, bought a tong of books at City Lights and went all over town for a week jsut checking out the sights. I like it there but it's a bit busy.
