Robert Williams teaches English and creative writing and writes regularly for San Diego’s Gay and Lesbian Times. He is the co-editor, with Ted Gideonse, of the Lambda Award Nominated anthology From Boys to Men: Gay Men Write About Growing Up. His essays and fiction have also appeared in Maisonneuve, Pindeldyboz, Versal, 400 Words, among others, and various anthologies including Fresh Men: New Voices in Gay Fiction, I Do/I Don’t: Queers on Marriage, and M2M: New Literary Fiction. In 2005, after seven years in NYC( where he received his MFA at Columbia University’s School of the Arts) he moved back to his home state of California with his husband, the writer Ted Gideonse; he’s currently relearning how to surf and finishing his first novel.
