Whenever I see the actress Jennifer Jones, I think of the b/w movie, 'Portrait of Jennie'. Have you ever seen that movie? I first saw it when I was ten and absolutely fell in love with it. I have only seen it three times in total, but still favour it (despite its obvious melodrama when seen through adult eyes). Heh, knowing me, I probably have the wrong actress in the movie, but, I do know the movie's title is correct.
I love reading your words - always enjoyable.

Ah, Madame Ovary. Sorry, it's been my longtime nickname for Flaubert's masterpiece. I remember seeing a French adaptation of the book over a decade ago, but I haven't gotten around to reading it. I'll compare notes with you when I do (hopefully before the semester starts).
